The Mane Academy is a 4-week comprehensive training programme for applicants with no recruitment experience, giving you a fast-track learning route to a career in the recruitment industry.

The Academy programme involves a detailed induction to Mane, including our history, organisation structure, vision, values and future plans. You will gain a good understanding of the industry and the Mane Way process; the fundamentals of being a Recruiter, from sourcing candidates and building your talent pool to client relationship building and winning new business.

Academy Structure

Week 1

Introduction to Mane, and overview of the industry, the ‘Mane Way’ process and the essentials for being a successful Recruiter
Our technology, systems and online platforms.
Brand optimisation and networking, including how to build your presence on social media to benefit your desk
Your industry sector, clients, candidates, job roles and skills

Week 2

Use of presentations, roles plays and shadowing colleagues
Candidate calls, how to build your talent pool and offer excellent candidate care
Vacancy qualification
How to qualify, shortlist and present a candidate
Preparing the candidate for interview through to offer management
Generating and converting leads

Week 3

Working on live roles on behalf of your team with advice and coaching
Compliance training
Setting agreed objectives and targets
Understanding how to use data to benefit your desk

Week 4

Relocate to your team desk and work alongside your team to work on lives roles
Work against metrics set by your manager
Review and recap of learning
Set your 100-day plan; setting goals to complete your probation period
